The CODA system enables better integration of any AI-based tools supporting the work of en-route air traffic controllers (ATCOs) (but the solution could easily be applied to other controller roles), improving teaming, wellbeing, safety, and performance, while keeping the mental state of the controller within safe boundaries.

In particular, the expected benefits of the solution for the main targeted stakeholder (air navigation service providers (ANSPs)) will be to:

• Improve operations predictability

• Improve/maintain the level of safety in air traffic management (ATM)

• Increase airspace capacity

• Increase operational efficiency

• Reduce costs due to inefficiency and unexpected complex or unsafe situations
