PARADISE aims to develop a next-generation air traffic services (ATS) platform for safe, efficient, and scalable airport operations. It delivers four integrated solutions: dynamic calibration of airport capacity, using AI to optimise planning, resource allocation and demand forecasting; optimisation of runway throughput, leveraging machine learning and aircraft data to improve spacing, sequencing, punctuality, and reduce fuel burn and emissions; intelligent surface management, applying automation and digital air traffic controller (ATCO) assistants to enhance taxiing, situational awareness, and workload; and prediction and optimisation in adverse weather, integrating AI and sensor data to improve de-icing, routing, and turnaround monitoring. Transversal threads ensure cyber-resilience and interoperability, advancing automation to Level 4.
