APOLLO project supports the SESAR Joint Undertaking by producing and maintaining the SESAR architecture. It provides top-down guidance, consolidates programme-level results, and ensures alignment with international standards and regulatory requirements, while delivering reports to track solution maturity and progress against the European ATM Master Plan.
APOLLO also supports strategic deployment planning, monitoring, and ad-hoc activities such as airspace architecture studies, Common Project proposals, and updates to the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda. The project brings together a broad set of stakeholders from airborne and ground systems, air navigation service providers, airport operators, and EUROCONTROL.
