The solution aims to improve punctuality, safety, and efficiency at large airports by providing automatic guidance to aircraft and tugs in the movement area, from pushback to runway line-up, and from runway vacated to the parking gate. Each stakeholder accesses a centralised tool that collects all relevant information for planning routing and tug allocation. The solution then regularly computes trajectories for all vehicles, ensuring they are deconflicted with speed regulations.

A key enabler of the solution is the availability of finely controllable vehicles that can accurately follow route and speed clearances. This can be achieved either with tow tugs or auto-taxi aircraft. The solution also provides interfaces designed to facilitate operational event management and the supervision of automated processes.
