The solution will enable the scaling up of outcomes from the “harmonisation of national configuration set-ups” to train all subject matter experts required for demonstrating the virtual centre business continuity solution. 

The solution will use the same infrastructure as the business continuity solution across the six participating ANSPs.

Furthermore, it will exploit the virtual infrastructure more broadly, making it more cost-efficient and preparing for a potential upscale to a full-scale federated training environment if proven viable.

At present, however, the solution is focused on supporting the I and Y architectures for the business continuity solution.

The main benefit is that any ANSP member can participate in federated training regardless of their geographical location within the community, using a centralised training platform that reduces travel and increases staffing flexibility.
