This technical solution consists of the virtual centre triangle architecture, created by disaggregating current services from the main ATM Data Service Provider (ADSP) into new, functionality-oriented ADSPs. In this case, the solution focuses on departure management (D-MAN) ADSPs deployed in the airport environment. The provision of these new SWIM services requires standardisation, which has been addressed through defined assurance and regulatory frameworks.

Key aspects of the solution include:

  • Standardised SESAR service interfaces between ADSPs;

  • Verification that the new ADSP provides at least the same functionality, quality and safety as the legacy system;

  • Assessment of the benefits of applying this architecture;

  • Consideration of the new services framework, including assurance and regulatory aspects.

The main anticipated benefit of this architecture is improved cost efficiency.
