The SESAR JU is pleased to announce its participation in the Transport Research Arena (TRA) 2026, from 18-21 May 2026 in Budapest, where it will showcase how cutting-edge ATM research is contributing to a smarter, more resilient, and sustainable European transport system.

Throughout the event, SESAR JU will be present at the exhibition area alongside the European Commission and fellow Joint Undertakings—EU-Rail, Clean Hydrogen and Clean Aviation. Together, we will highlight the power of collaboration across transport modes and the role of EU-funded research and innovation in delivering a seamless and resilient mobility system for Europe.

SESAR JU will also take part in a series of high-level panel sessions, sharing insights and results from its research and innovation programme. These discussions will cover a wide range of strategic topics, including digitalisation, artificial intelligence, GNSS, drones, and multimodality—demonstrating how SESAR solutions are shaping the future of aviation and its integration into the wider mobility ecosystem.

Innovation will also be on full display through the presence of several SESAR JU projects, showcasing their latest R&D achievements and offering a unique opportunity to engage directly with the teams shaping the future of European airspace.

Finally, SESAR JU is proud to support the Airborne Category of the TRA Visions Award, recognising excellence and forward-looking research in aviation and reinforcing Europe’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of innovators.

Stay tuned for more updates on our activities at TRA 2026. In the meantime, discover below where and when you can meet us throughout the event.
